Agility

Why Agility?

Agility is a sport that works your dog both physically and mentally. It is a fun way to teach your dog to focus, build confidence, and fine tune impulse control.

Puppy/Intro to Agility:

This class will get you and your puppy introduced to some of the equipment such as tunnels, weaves, boards, jumps (no height jumping-your pup's joints are still forming), wobble board and more. If you enjoy it, then maybe there is agility in your team's future!

Sports Foundation 1:

For those teams wanting to continue to Agility you MUST ATTEND BOTH Sports Foundations 1 and Sports Foundation 2 sessions. In SF1 we will concentrate on Focus, Body Awareness, Motivation & introduction to agility/obedience/rally obstacles. The goal is to build confidence in your dog, learn what motivates them, and create a bond for life (every day and/or competition.)

Sports Foundation 2:

This is part 2 for those wanting to continue to Agility you MUST ATTEND BOTH sessions. In this session you will concentrate again on focus, body awareness, motivation, and work on and with the equipment for Agility/Obedience/Rally. The goal is to build confidence in your dog, learn what motivates them, and create a bond for life (every day and/or competition.)

Beginner Agility:

This class is for those who have completed Sports Foundation 1 & 2 OR our Puppy/Intro to Agility class and have a reliable recall, good sits, downs, stays and be able to work off leash. You will build skills from the Sports Foundation classes and grow into more sequenced obstacles for agility.

Intermediate Agility:

This class is for teams who have completed the Agility Beginners class and are going into competition! More practice – more ribbons and onto Advanced Agility!

Advanced Agility:

This class is for teams having completed the Agility Intermediate class and are into competitive levels!

Agility Handling Skills/Drills:

This is a class geared for all to brush up on your handling skills.  This class is open to teams who have attended Advanced, Intermediate or Beginner Agility classes.
